Wormall Civil has been in operation for 40 years and has built a reputation becoming a leading Western Australian Civil Construction company that strives to provide excellence in engineering, construction, and project management services.
We are currently working on multiple projects across the metropolitan area from Two Rocks to Mandurah and from Australind to Margaret River in the southwest region. Our projects have multiple active stages with project values ranging from $500K to $10million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transport, plant, and equipment requirements across all sites, ensuring effective scheduling and resource utilisation.
- Forecast and allocate plant, machinery, and ancillary services in collaboration with site teams.
- Monitor maintenance compliance, servicing schedules, and asset condition reports, organising repairs where required.
- Implement processes to track the movement and status of assets to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Oversee daily allocation and reallocation of plant, machinery, vehicles, and operational resources based on project priorities.
- Manage staff timesheets via Employment Hero, ensuring accuracy in hours, job codes, and machine usage.
- Support workforce planning by overseeing leave approval, staff movement, and ensuring adequate operational coverage.
- Provide reporting, data entry, and administrative support across fleet, logistics, and operational systems.
About you
- To be successful in this role you will:
- Strong leadership skills with experience guiding transport, operations, and plant teams in a civil construction environment.
- Solid understanding of plant, fleet, equipment, and logistics, with the ability to schedule and resource effectively across multiple sites.
- Clear and confident communicator who builds positive relationships with stakeholders and provides clear direction to teams.
- Strong working knowledge of WHS, HSEQ processes, maintenance standards, and civil construction compliance requirements.
- Tech-savvy and organised, with experience using digital systems (e.g., Employment Hero, Microsoft Office) and maintaining accurate operational records.
- Safety-focused, adaptable, and proactive in identifying issues early and implementing practical solutions.
