About the role

We are looking for a weekend supervisor to join our team in Livingstone, the role will be rostered to work on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

As a weekend supervisor you will be working with our customers dropping off goods for appropriate disposal or recycling through the facility. A part of the role requires handling cash along with processing EFT transactions. The role also requires manual handling tasks of resource recovery and waste. Operating the forklift and loader operation, assessing loads being delivered and carting of loads- training will be provided to successful applicants.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading site operations on the weekends
  • Leading, supervising and supporting staff
  • Adhering to operational health and safety and acting in a safe manner
  • Ensure the business has a customer focus
  • Providing excellent customer service

What we are looking for

  • Experience leading diverse teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in administration tasks
  • Experience in MS Office Suite
  • Forklift licence, desirable
  • Loader operator ticket, desirable
  • Experience in the retail and/or logistics industries, desirable
  • A background in waste management or related field, desirable
