Job Title: Senior Java Software Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in the financial services industry. As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will also work closely with other members of the development team to ensure that all software is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Skills:

- Strong experience in Java programming language

- Knowledge of Spring Frameworks, Hibernate or other ORM tools

- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB etc.

- Familiarity with RESTful web services development

- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS etc.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing high-quality software solutions using Java programming language

- Developing RESTful APIs for integration between different systems

- Participating in code reviews to ensure that all code is written to a high standard

- Providing technical guidance to junior developers when necessary

-Troubleshooting production issues related to applications developed by the team

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Computer Science or related field

- 5+ years of experience working as a mid-senior level java developer

- Proven track record of delivering complex projects within budgeted timelines

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong attention to detail
