NWI Fabrication Job Application

NWI Group's fabrication division, NWI Fabrication, is a growing business entity devoted to fabricating high-end structural steel, engineered solutions, and industrial automation and construction projects.

NWI Group is a family-owned and operated business with offices in five states around Australia. The NWI Fabrication division and office are based in Sydney and complete the fabrication and installation of various projects throughout Australia.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to:

Interpret technical drawings and plans.

Have 5+ years of experience in the metal fabrication industry.

Be willing to work overtime.

Hold a current driver's license.

Hold a current forklift license.

Have experience working side by side with riggers and dogmen.

Have the ability to take direction, work unsupervised, and be part of a team.

Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to Australian welding standards.

Have basic - intermediate lathe skills.

Have experience working with sheet metal machinery (press brake).

Have experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Have experience working and welding onsite, including structural steel erection and fabrication.

Duties & Key Requirements for this role include:

Fabrication and assembly work.

Loading and unloading material using a forklift.

Working with structural steel.

Working with stainless steel.

Working with sheet metal.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Good communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail.
