We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Controller / Finance Lead to join our dynamic IT firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets.

Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management and key stakeholders.

Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Assist with annual audits and tax filings.

Project Controls:

Oversees the financial aspects of individual projects.

Manages budgets, forecasts, expenditures, and reporting for their assigned projects.

Collaborates closely with project managers to ensure financial alignment and progress.

Processes invoices, tracks expenses, and prepares financial reports.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize cash resources.

Implement and maintain cash flow forecasting models.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.

Set clear performance expectations and ensure the team's effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred.

Proven experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within the IT industry.

Project Controller experience is essential.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
