Greenhawk, a forward-thinking New Zealand chartered accounting firm, is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Manila. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing tax compliance, conducting management accounting tasks, and handling accounting and tax matters for various entities. The ideal candidate is motivated to develop professionally and should have strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

Preparing financial statements and tax returns for New Zealand companies, trusts, and sole traders
Manage tax compliance activities such as preparing GST returns and FBT returns.
Conduct management accounting tasks including preparing monthly finance reports
Reconcile and analyse ledgers on a periodic basis
Prepare trial balances, graphs, and perform analytical reviews of results
Undertake any other specific duties as required by management

Qualifications/Skills:

Minimum 2 years' experience with New Zealand or Australian taxation

Good communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred.
High proficiency in using Xero accounting software preferred.
