Chief Financial Officer

Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the finance and accounting departments of a banking and financial services institution, developing and executing financial strategies to ensure long-term financial success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop financial strategies and plans that support the organization’s long-term goals
• Manage financial risks and develop risk management strategies
• Oversee finance and accounting departments, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and investments
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure best practices
• Provide financial analysis and support to senior leadership and the Board of Directors
• Oversee preparation and presentation of financial reports
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or banking, including experience as a CFO or similar role
• Strong knowledge and understanding of banking and financial services industries, including regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams and developing talent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing financial strategies that support business growth and change.
