The Product Report: February Edition

Howdy Heroes! It’s time for your monthly dose of the good stuff…an update on all the exciting new features and upgrades we released in February.

1. We automated pay runs! YAS!

We have released a new automated pay runs feature. We have automated most of the steps required to process and finalise a pay run to give you more time. You can read about the full release here.

2. We’ve added even more HR features to the mobile app

Our mobile app keeps growing. Employees can now edit leave requests and timesheets from the mobile app.

We’ve also made it easier for employees using rostering to know when they’re working by introducing push notifications when shifts have been edited and updated.

3. Hero Shop is going  mobile

Our discount marketplace, Hero Shop, will be available on mobile by the end of this week! This will make it even easier for your employees to access hundreds of savings across everyday goods and services from anywhere.

4. Custom Work Hours leaves beta on 11 March

We ran an open beta with great success in January to trial our Custom Work Hours feature. We are now happy to announce Custom Work Hours is available for Premium Employment Hero customers who use HeroPay or KeyPay from 11 March.

With this update, you’ll be able to set the hours for casual employees who work the same hours each week but on different days. Once set up, this data will automatically sync to your payroll. This will save you time when these employees submit a leave request as the correct hours will automatically be calculated.

Whoo! There are some pretty big advancements in there but we’ve got even more coming in March. We better get back to it.
